Patty Lin is the author of End Credits: How I Broke Up with Hollywood, a memoir about her years as a TV writer, which won a National Indie Excellence Award in 2024. Her credits include Freaks and Geeks, Friends, Desperate Housewives, and Breaking Bad. She has also written pilots for Fox, CBS, and Nickelodeon. She received a Peabody Award for her work as a producer on Breaking Bad, and her episode, “Gray Matter,” was nominated for a Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Script in Episodic Drama. She retired from television to save her sanity and lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
